Company Wolf Steel has recalled 600 units of the Napoleon Propane gas fireplaces. The pressure from the ignition of the propane gas can break the glass front which poses a laceration hazard.
The recall affects the GD3200-P flush glass front, and GD3200B-P with a bay window, propane gas fireplaces. The fireplaces are black and approximately 33 inches tall and 31.25 inches wide with gold accent designs on the top and bottom of the outside of the product.
The recall affects fireplaces with model number GD3200-P and GD3200B-P. Model numbers can be found in the center of the rating label, which is located on the base of the fireplace behind the lower access door.
So far, Wolf Steel has heard one incident in Canada where the glass shattered which resulted in cuts to the face and neck that required medical treatment.
Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the fireplaces and to contact a Napoleon Fireplace Hearth Dealer to have a free upgrade kit installed by a gas appliance technician.
Roland has recalled about 640 units of their digital electric piano/ The AC power cord can be connected to the XLR output jacks, which poses an electrical shock hazard.
The recall affects Roland pianos with model number RD-800. The product is an electronic piano keyboard that is black and has 88 black and white keys. The front of the piano has a control panel with a color liquid crystal display (LCD) in the center.
The serial number and model number can be found on a data plate on the right side of the rear of the piano between the XLR output connectors and the AC IN connector.
Pianos within the following serial number ranges are being recalled:
- Z6D0015 to Z6D0019
- Z7D0174 to Z7D0423
- Z8D1 056 to Z8D1255
- Z9D2131 to Z9D2333
So far Roland has heard one report of a consumer connecting the power cord to the XLR output jack. No injuries have yet been reported. Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using the pianos, unplug the power cord, and contact Roland U.S. or a local authorized dealership for a free repair kit.
